Lifetime Collective Spring / Summer 2015 Collection

T

houghtful fabric choices, natural fibres, and calm earth tones dictate the mood of our seasonal offering of quality garments. We’ve been collecting artist’s ceramics at the studio lately, and we created this season’s custom-crafted prints with the depth and richness of textured glazes and bespoke stoneware in mind. There is always a unique character to the handmade, which is why our prints are made in-house each season.

We translated our love for our laid-back coastal life into an array of designs and cuts that are as clean and refreshing as the salty ocean air that moves around us here. The arid landscape from a recent trip to LA is where we snapped photographs of its rugged succulent plant life. When we developed our film back at home we thought, what better way to keep pushing forward new possibilities for floral? We worked these overpainted images onto an exclusive series of menswear shorts and an easy going button up. Crafted for those cool springs days leading up to solstice in mind.

Spring 2015

Below is a mens collection I designed for the Lifetime Collective Spring 2015 collection

Summer 2015

We take our cue from the unexpected places that have captured our hearts since childhood: the breathtaking backdrop of the Canadian wild. It’s that opulence of ocean blues and the soft grey and white stones on our shores that keep pulling us back into another adventure, and set the mood for our summer line. Working with new methods, a selection of handcrafted prints take on a more vibrant mood for these balmy days, set against an array of versatile fits. Layers of soft chalk lines and textured charcoal accent carefully selected fabrics, as the imaginative and spontaneous quality of abstract art round off the print mood of our summer.

Creative & Art Direction

On top of designing the collection for this season I also directed the seasonal photoshoot and all marketing materials for it that can be viewed here
