ounded in 2002 by myself and Reid Stewart , beneath a buzzing light bulb in a dingy basement suite, The Lifetime Collective™ began as a collaborative group of artists and friends. With clothing as the main focus, the brand was inspired by the communities we lived in, the places we travelled, and the curious characters that surrounded us. It was a family-spirited operation receptive to ideas that are shifting and paths that are twisting.
More than a “brand of lifestyle,” Lifetime was defined by the changes that occurred and the creative ways we adapted. In fact, the theme of Lifetime should have been, “a work in progress,” as it was ever-changing and far from finished, a dream that was continually evolving.
Fall 2012
Incorporating rich earth tones of burgundy and rust, with vibrant shades of blue and green, each piece was built with a vista of autumn in mind. This Fall collection saw bonded cotton twill jackets, heathered stripe jerseys, twill flannels, cargo pants and classic chinos - the ultimate foundation for the winter months ahead.
Winter 2012
My winter 2012 collection combined beloved classics with innovative new designs that where functional and, as we’ve came to expect from Lifetime, a little fantastical (look no further than the sweater pants at the time). With heavier parkas, wool sweaters, vests, plaids and premium bonded fleece, people were cool as a cucumber and warm like wolf. For a weekend in the woods, eight hours in the office, Lifetime has got all aspects of life covered.
Creative & Art Direction
On top of designing the collection for this season I also directed the seasonal photoshoot and all marketing materials for it.
