Lifetime Collective Spring / Summer 2014

F

ounded in 2002 by myself and Reid Stewart , beneath a buzzing light bulb in a dingy basement suite, The Lifetime Collective™ began as a collaborative group of artists and friends. With clothing as the main focus, our brand was inspired by the communities they live in, the places we travel to, and the curious characters that surround us. It was a family-spirited operation receptive to ideas that are shifting and paths that are twisting.
More than a “brand of lifestyle,” Lifetime was defined by the changes that occur and the creative ways we adapt. In fact, the theme of Lifetime should have been, “a work in progress,” as it was ever-changing and far from finished, a dream never fully realized.

Spring / Summer 2014

This season time was spent crafting a lot of custom prints and fabrics for the collection. On top of everything that goes with designing a full new season of clothing we had also been working on the design and launch of our new flagship store and office. Wanting to showcase some hand designed elements that would be found in our new retail space I decided to incorporate them into the campaign. This way when the collection dropped six months later it would fit right into the new space and look like it was just produced yesterday. From custom designed clothing racks, concrete stools to a swatch pallet of marbles trims and textures, the entire shoot was merchandised with things that would be found in the new retail space. All this paired again the visually inspirational backdrop of Palm Springs.

I also designed all the mens apparel shown above, click here to check out the full collection in my Apparel design section.
